George St. Pierre will face his worst enemy in the Octagon and outside it this coming 11th of December 2010 in the person of Josh Koscheck. This epic fight will happen in George's hometown at Quebec, Canada at the Montreal Bell Centre. This will be the second time that these two fighters will face each other after their first fight during UFC 74 wherein he defeated Koscheck easily. The first match of these two renowned fighters was for the number one welterweight contender position and the upcoming fight is for the UFC welterweight championship presently held by St. Pierre.

During their first meeting in 2007, GSP overcomes the odds by defeating Koscheck. Many critics predicted that Koscheck will win that fight due to his great record as a 4 time Division I NCAA All-American and NCAA Wresting Champ. However, even with this good history St. Pierre beats Koscheck by defending his guard, not letting Koscheck take him on the ground. George was always on top during the fight and he won unanimously.

Another time when these rivals met was during The Ultimate Fighter 12 as coaches of the two opposing teams. This fight will commemorate the end of the latest season after the final fight of the members on the 4th. Koscheck was very disrespectful during the show by giving out a lot of rude comments to St. Pierre.
GSP is glad to take this fight. He remembered all the not so nice remarks of Koscheck during the TV show and promises to answer back with his fist and bring glory to his hometown where the fight will happen.
After their last match Koscheck steadily gains wins over a number of mixed martial arts fighters like Chris Lytle, Paul Daley, Dustin Hazelett and Anthony Johnson. He was defeated twice during those times by Thiago Alves who was defeated by St. Pierre in UFC 100 and Brazilian MMA fighter Paulo Thiago.

Koscheck express enthusiasm for his and GSP's rematch this coming December, saying that only a little was given second chances and he wants to benefit from this fight. He plans to win the title held by St. Pierre claiming that he is better trained on every aspect of the game than the defending champ.
On the other hand, George St-Pierre is bathing on the glory of winning seven fights in a row defeating a number of big names in the business including Matt Hughes, BJ Pen, Thiago Alves, Matt Serra, Jon Fitch, Dan Hardy and Koscheck. He is currently on the number one place for Yahoo! Sports in UFC ranking. He also plans to win this rematch and to defend his title in UFC 124.
